The common factor is the head of Delegation and coach of India - GM @Shyam_chess Sundar in both the events! Grandmaster Shyam Sundar is a world-class trainer. The last two grandmasters from India - GM Srihari LR and GM Harikrishnan Ra are both his students! While in events like World Cup all the players have their own team working with them, the role of a coach is not to be underestimed! They are always present to help the Indian players in any way - chess or non-chess. Shyam is turning out to be an amazing goodluck charm for India in the World Cup! And he will get to witness an Indian winning the Women's World Cup in the next few days.
