Remember, Hamas is rejecting a ceasefire deal.
They continue to hold hostages, to fight, to accept any deal.
Letters like the ones signed by Canada earlier this week putting all the pressure on Israel don't help secure a ceasefire, they help ensure Hamas feels they have support.
