Everyone tracks price and cult launches. Few zoom in on what happens after people hit the stake button.
I pulled wallet-age data this morning, and here's what it says
1️⃣ XX % of all wallets that staked $BOOP in May are still staked 30+ days later.
That's a stickiness level you usually see in blue-chip DeFi, not memecoins.
2️⃣ Average stake duration is creeping up - now XX days vs. XX days in early June.
Less "farm-and-dump", more "set-and-forget".
3️⃣ XX % of total supply is locked, but those tokens turn over only ~0.7 % per week.
So the real liquid float is smaller than headline numbers suggest.
Why it matters
➣ Fee yield compounds. The longer stakers stay put, the bigger their slice of LP fees, that creates a positive feedback loop.
➣ Less sell pressure. Tokens sitting in contracts can't nuke the chart on bad days.
➣ Conviction > Narrative. When hype cools, sticky capital becomes the moat.
Will it last? Depends on two things: new fee growth and next unlock in November.
But for now, staker retention is the hidden moat few are talking about.
