📉 The New Tenant Rent Index, which leads CPI Rent, fell an unprecedented -XXX% YoY in Q2 2025.

This suggests strong disinflation ahead in shelter CPI, which makes up ~30% of the Core CPI Inflation gauge.

Keep in mind, however, this series often sees very large revisions.
