You bring up a good point

The state is more of a relationship between molecules - so it's not fair to single out just one molecule 

But I imagine that at the "triple point" the exist solid relationships, liquid relationships, and vapor relationships, but there is no one relationship that is all three all at once 

But what do I know? 🤷‍♂️
