$BTC prides itself on being immutable and unable to change on the base layer. This can be a pro based on who is looking at it.

$KAS prides itself on being the new, adaptable technology that solves the blockchain trilemma via BlockDAG. This is also a major pro.

Both will likely co-exist.

It's important to educate ourselves on both and use the technology necessary for each specific situation.
