Nepal's former president Bidhya Devi Bhandari's political aspirations halted

For a few months, speculations of two-term president Bidhya Devi Bhandari taking a leading role in CPN-UML as an alternate to the leadership of two-term Prime Minister of Nepal K P Sharma Oli have come to an end. The Central Committee of CPN-UML denied renewing her membership in UML.
