Great Ife is trending because the Great Obafemi Awolowo University released an updated Dress Code list. Apparently they have a serious problem with braids.

The one raising brows is #5. Where wearing Bomb Shot, is described as a “Misconduct”.

Kissing, hugging, braids for men, dyed hair, massaging or siting on laps of opposite sex., all come with X semesters Rustication.

Use of MakeUp, Body Piercing, Rumpled Clothes, Skimpy dresses, multicolored hairstyles for women, etc all carry X semester rustication.

Now Nigerians are wondering when or how the Great University of Ife, became a primary/secondary school.

Previous SUG’s have been fighting this. The school issued similar dress code terms in 2022/23, it was vehemently rejected.
