🚨 BREAKING: @aeyakovenko, @MaxResnick1, and four other key contributors in the Solana ecosystem have co-published “The Internal Capital Markets Roadmap”, a foundational proposal for Solana’s evolution into the decentralized backbone of Internet Capital Markets (ICM).

The roadmap outlines a shift toward Application-Controlled Execution (ACE) to address trade-offs in market design, including "privacy vs. transparency", "speedbumps vs. unrestricted trading", and more.

Short Term (1-3 months): 
- Jito's BAM enables developers to define intra-slot execution rules.
- Anza working to reduce transaction latency and improve slot consistency.

Medium Term (3-9 months):
- Doublezero will help cut network latency by up to 100ms.
- Alpenglow: reduces finality to ~150ms across 1–2 slots
- APE (Asynchronous Program Execution): removes execution replay from tx path

Long Term (2027):
- Multiple Concurrent Leaders
- PProtocol-level ACE enforcement
