Ornstein said we made a late push for Ekitike, who was far from cheap, but by then he'd already committed to joining Liverpool.

Now reports say we're not considering expensive options like Sesko, Jackson, or Isak.

So, we were ready to pay big only for Ekitike but not for anyone else? The logic here is all over the place...
