Ethereum is still the macro anchor for institutional and DeFi flows, leading with TVL and robust L2 activity, but Solana and Avalanche are gaining ground fast with retail momentum, speed, and new scaling paradigms.  

Aptos and SUI are the tech upstarts—backed by deep pockets, they’re pulling in devs with parallel execution and high scalability, even as adoption is early-stage.
