Some friends messaged us yesterday about Worldcoin's $WLD retina scan in Thailand. 

What apparently started with an unhappy user who  couldn't get his/her data deleted, escalated quickly into a full-blown investigation due to PDPA violations. 

Even if this is resolved eventually, all web3 and AI related product launches should almost always take into account the simplest rule: communicate clearly to your users, and respond quickly if they are unhappy. Don't just sweep it under the rug. 

Some basic lessons here for product launching. 

'Better to ask for forgiveness, than to ask for permission' might not work all the time.
