I don’t really know the context behind why there’s been such an anti campaign specifically for this Superman movie but what I will say is just like record sales/first week sales aren’t really indicative of success anymore in the music industry, I’m not sure box office is for films anymore. Tons of huge movies skip the theaters all together and go straight to streaming. 

I saw this movie. I like Man of Steel a little more but all the kids I went with had fun. Seems like it’s just another case of the internet polarizing everything.
