Deserved or not, the Gaza food shortage (well, food distribution problem) is a black eye for Israel.
It's a "lose-lose" PR disaster.
What Israel SHOULD do is to publicly implore Saudi Arabia and/or Egypt to do all the food distribution -- up to and including using their countries' troops to handle the process in Gaza.
Even if these two countries WON'T do it, the onus will be lifted from Israel's shoulders.
