Lombard’s goal is super clear as it seems, turning Bitcoin from a passive store of value into active, onchain capital. So instead of just holding bitcoin, users can now stake it, borrow against it, or use it across defi. That’s what LBTC is built for, real bitcoin used trustlessly, across chains. But it’s not just about functionality. Lombard is trying to build a real capital market around Bitcoin. With integrations on Ethereum, Sui, and even EigenLayer, they’re kicking off a phase where we can finally say, “oh wow bitcoin is really working.” So it’s not just about chasing yield, it’s about waking Bitcoin up. And I’m genuinely curious about where this goes. What do you think? Can bitcoin actually become productive capital?
