The term the “rich get richer” is because. The rich buy assets and then they borrow against their assets to buy more assets… 

Buying a $1mil in stocks gives you the leverage to borrow $1mil and buy more stocks. 

Putting $1mil in. High yield savings gives them leverage to borrow up to XX% via line of credit. 

Buying $1mil in real estate gives the option to borrow against it via refinancing or line of credit… 

This is why they get richer and richer. You gotta learn how to play the game.
