I love the proprietary Relative Measured Volatility indicator invented by @RichardMoglen for @Deepvue. I mark a cross under any candle < X RMV, signaling significant volatility contraction compared to the past XX days.

I like to use my eye for tightness, but having a quantitative measurement to cross-check takes out some human bias and error.
