In Korea, the blockchain industry has traditionally focused more on investment and research rather than technology. As a result, most blockchain events held domestically tend to revolve around investment, market analysis, and policy discussions, rather than technical development. However, this trend is beginning to shift. The number of blockchain developers is steadily growing, and interest in technology is rising along with it. I believe this presents a valuable opportunity to bring developers who are interested in Web3 into the Polkadot ecosystem. There is already a developer in Korea contributing to JAM, and there is also active ambassador for Polkadot ecosystem projects like @peaq and @Acurast. In addition, we have several alumni from PBA, as well as community members who regularly produce high-quality content. If these individuals come together, I am confident that we can build a solid Polkadot community in Korea centered around technology and ecosystem growth. Just as Web2 developers in Europe were introduced to Polkadot and helped grow the ecosystem, someone in Korea needs to take on that role as well. With interest in Web3 development spreading rapidly, I believe now is the ideal time to begin that effort. I truly believe this is a topic worth serious discussion. I look forward to sharing exciting and meaningful updates related to this initiative with the global @Polkadot community in the near future. Congratulations on the successful booth operation. In Korea, the blockchain industry has traditionally focused more on investment and research rather than technology. As a result, most blockchain events held domestically tend to revolve around investment, market analysis, and policy discussions, rather than technical development.
However, this trend is beginning to shift. The number of blockchain developers is steadily growing, and interest in technology is rising along with it. I believe this presents a valuable opportunity to bring developers who are interested in Web3 into the Polkadot ecosystem.
