Don't you think that someone could invest/work their way into at least the top X% with the more optimistic (perhaps naive) perspective of "AI will be an incredible boost to economic efficiency and productivity, crypto will be an incredible boost to financial freedome and wealth preservation, and biotech will do wonders to reduce human suffering and human death (and the costs associated with that)." ?

Something that's still hard for me to reckon with is that the growth rate of the world population is going to continue to decline. A world where most people don't have any children seems quite scary because it's so foreign to the rest of human history. I don't know how humanity will adapt to that.
