This is exactly why we needed to make this adjustment ASA-F’ing-P. Why? Well, the newly (re)launched $BSTR contract developed a misfire. From the outside, everything looked and functioned flawlessly, but on the back end, the taxes were not being collected. And without the taxes we have no DAO treasury, no cars to tokenize, and no capital for ongoing development. How was this bug missed? Long story short, an update was made to comply with the contract audit from Assure Defi. This correction made a single word in the tax-handling portion of the code conflict with another function. Assure did their job. Our developers did their job. But in the end a bug slipped through the cracks. For the record, we are not casting shade on any party. This was a fluke confluence of events that resulted in an unfortunate, but not insurmountable setback. And we greatly appreciate our developers at @DecentralBros, and our launch advisors/auditors at @AssureDefi for their past and ongoing support. So, here we are.
