There was a great twilight zone episode i remember from my youth.

A stranger brings this couple a box with a button in it.  "If you press the button, someone you don't know, will die, but you'll get a million dollars."

The couple struggles with the morality, but the wife finally presses the button.

The stranger comes by the next day to pick up the box. "Do i really get a million dollars?"

"Yes, and the button will go to someone else, tomorrow.  Someone you don't know."
