This is the easiest way to lower your CPMs.

Meta rewards engagement on your ads.

More comments = lower costs.

But most brands completely ignore their comment section or just like comments and move on.

Here’s what you should actually be doing:

For example, if you sell cat food and someone comments on your ad, don’t just like it.

Ask them what their cat looks like, how old he is and what problems they’re dealing with.

That 45+ year old woman will share a picture of her cat and tell you everything that’s wrong and right with it.

Then keep the conversation going in the comments like you’re chatting with a friend.

Most people online are lonely and just looking for interaction and connection.

Lower CPMs are just the beginning.

When others see you actually engaging, it builds trust and shows you’re a brand that cares.

This encourages more people to comment and creates a flywheel effect.

You’re essentially building a trust-building funnel right below your ad.

Plus these conversations give you direct access to customer pain points, objections, desires etc…

You can use this data for creative briefs, landing pages, product development and way more.

Also you don’t have to do this yourself.

Just brief your customer service team to handle it.

As a reward for reading this far, here’s the REAL sauce:

- Track your most active commenters.
- Reach out and offer them free products.
- When you find a new winning ad, send them the post and ask them to comment early.

These people become your engagement army for every new winner.

That’s how you game the algorithm.
