That led me to focus on the IP portion of memes, I think that is what lets me feel more cozy. We want Dude to be our Mario, Pacman, etc of our ecosystem. IP is where you win staying power. Stop buying shiny things and start believing in something mane. Early days of the cycle you could buy a meme that you thought was cute / funny: $wif and $popcat. Pretty easy wins, that later developed into valuable IP.
