The âsix days of creationâ were never meant to be clockwork 24-hour periodsâancient writers didnât even measure time the way we do. Those âdaysâ are clearly metaphors for unfathomable eons, each representing vast stretches of time in which the universe, Earth, and life itself took shape. Stars donât form overnight, oceans donât rise in a week, and complex species donât just pop into existence fully formed because someone said âlet there be light.â Thatâs not divine magic; thatâs evolution, geology, astronomy, and biology playing out over billions of yearsâprocesses so magnificent that if anything, they make a stronger case for awe in creation than any instant snap-of-the-fingers version ever could. Whatâs truly fragile isnât evolutionâitâs the brittle glass house of denial built by those too scared to reconcile faith with evidence. Science doesnât crumble because someone stomps their foot and yells âGenesis!ââitâs been tested, challenged, refined, and proven for centuries. Literalist creationism, on the other hand, collapses the second you hold it up to reality. So maybe itâs time for people like Ken Ham to stop pretending their interpretation is the only one and admit that the truthâthe real, observable, measurable truthâwas there all along. Evolution is reality, and no amount of wishful thinking changes that. XX engagements [Post Link](https://x.com/TheDreamProfit/status/1948361136404865275)
