If you are new to how short squeezes work I made a video on the basics for a beginner and why this is happening in the summer again. 

It's a recurring theme and has underlying causes including a massive $X trillion increase in hedge fund assets (many who are long/short) under management the last couple years. 

Short selling is hard for newbies to grasp so if you still don't understand it that's normal. I did this video on the fly too. This explains why we have seen these short squeeze moves like in Opendoor $OPEN and many others.
