Dalğa Arena (Baku 🇦🇿)
Dalğa Arena opened in 2011 as a 6,500-capacity enclosed stadium in Mardakan, a small settlement on the Caspian coast, east of Baku.

It’s an alternative stadium for more minor 🇦🇿 internationals, but tonight gets use in the #UECL.
The home team are Araz-Naxçivan, a reformed team from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, an exclave or Azeri land that is separated from the rest of the country by 🇦🇲.
Araz are playing over in Baku as their own Nakhchivan City Stadium doesn’t meet UEFA requirements.

Araz-Naxçivan 🇦🇿 are making their European debut today after finishing third in last season’s Premyer Liqasi. Their opponents in their first ever game will be Super League fifth-placers Aris FC 🇬🇷
