Poland creates ministry to combat illegal migration

Former Interior Minister Tomasz Siemoniak will take up the new ministerial post, Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced.

According to him, the government will now pay more attention to security. This applies “both to our eastern border, where we are preparing for possible aggressive behavior from our eastern neighbors, and to decisive work to restore order on [all] our borders in Poland,” Tusk said.

Up to XXX attempts to illegally cross the Polish border are recorded every day.
