The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) management team this morning visited Ohangwena Police Commander Commissioner Ottilie Kashuupulwa to strengthen relationships, collaboration, and cooperation between the two entities.

The courtesy call was aimed at information sharing through networking with the police to educate the community about the prevention and combating of crime.

Chief of News and Programming Menesia Muinjo says touching base with its audience is vital to maintain stakeholders' relationships and improve service delivery when it comes to information dissemination.

NBC commended the Ohangwena Police for their contribution to the NBC Radio Kati-FM breakfast show locally known as Lunganda, where the police call to report on crime-related news, look for suspects, and educate the community about crime in general.
