👀⚽️📊 Fab Romano reporting #CFC is closing on a Xavi Simons transfer from RB Leipzig. #Bayern remain in competition.

Simons had a down 24/25 compared to his 22-24 production levels where he was a top playmaker. 24/25 is forgivable because RB Leipzig were truly terrible.

At his best, Simons combines elite playmaking, dribbling and shooting. Really nice player!

To rate the transfer we’d need to see how much is being spent and where Simons would fit given Chelsea have a very crowded situation in the attacking slots.
