By the way i noticed everyone’s busy tracking total fees like it’s a flex. But here's what most CT isn’t paying attention to:

NEAR is doing ~$9.7K/day in protocol fees with over $154M in DEX volume across its top protocols.

I know some of you would think they’re undercharging, but that’s exactly the point.

NEAR is not trying to milk activity. It’s architected for scale, not squeeze.
At less than XXXXX% average fee, it’s one of the few chains where activity can explode without choking users.

Meanwhile, some chains spike gas just to fake growth.

If you really want real usage, then look for chains where fees are low but sticky, and activity doesn’t slow down. That’s NEAR rn.
