According to the New Straits Times report, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has voiced concern over the ongoing border dispute between Thailand and Cambodia, stressing that peace remains the only viable path forward.

"The situation is worrying. They are key members of ASEAN and close neighbours to Malaysia. I have sent messages to both prime ministers and look forward to speaking with them later today or tonight.

"At the very least, we hope they will de-escalate tensions and return to the negotiating table. Efforts have been made, but I still firmly believe that peace is the only option," he told reporters after attending the Asean Semiconductor Summit here today. #ASEAN #thailand #Cambodia
