The Second Army Region reported that at approximately 16:40, Thai F-16 fighter jets conducted an airstrike targeting Cambodian military positions located south of Ta Muen Thom temple in Surin Province.

This marked the second wave of airstrikes by the Thai F-16 squadron, following an earlier operation involving the deployment of six jets to the Chong An Ma area in Ubon Ratchathani. That initial strike targeted the headquarters of Cambodia’s 8th and 9th Infantry Support Divisions.

These units were responsible for laying landmines that injured Thai soldiers and for launching artillery strikes into Thai territory, resulting in multiple civilian casualties.
