Let’s talk about bad trades and why hitting your stop-loss shouldn’t wreck your entire portfolio đŸ§”

I see a lot of traders post crying emojis with their red PNLs, blaming manipulation, or one exchange or the other.

When I started trading, I also made the mistake of letting one bad trade wipe me out. But I quickly corrected that by learning good risk management.

Listen carefully:

📌 If one stop-loss can damage your entire portfolio —
You’re not just unlucky. You’re trading with no risk plan.

Proper traders lose too. But they manage losses.

If you’re using good risk management, a stop-loss should only cost you 3–5% of your capital — not your whole account!

The next X or X winning trades should be able to recover that loss with ease. But most people go all-in, lose one trade, and go cry in the DM or comment “crypto is a scam.”

Let’s be real:

✅ You’re not a bad trader for losing
❌ You’re a bad trader for not knowing how to manage your loss

Risk management is how you stay alive in the game. The goal is to protect capital and last long enough to grow it.

So if you hit your SL, hold your head up not your tears.

You’re not out of the game. You’re just being told to adjust 📉📈
