Lately I’ve been feeling pretty frustrated with $TAO subnets. Yesterday’s Sturdy (Eth) token tanked, and naturally, people started linking it to @_taofi_ Subnet XX since that’s what it used to be called. A bunch of us, myself included, asked @pgpsam and @_taofi_ to clear things up. Of course… nothing. Just silence.
That silence sparked a wave of selling. I know quite a few who exited entirely because of how badly this was handled. When subnet owners act like token holders are irrelevant, it either shows weakness or a total lack of understanding of how investor relations work. Both of those are really bad looks. It shows how immature the whole ecosystem is.
I actually like @pgpsam . I think he wants to build something meaningful. But this kind of silence reminds me of middle school. If @_taofi_ wants to build real financial infrastructure for $TAO, it’s time to start acting like it.
