Lending and borrowing protocols got tons of revenue through both activities. Perp protocols got more people trading more coins beyond Sui, I use Bluefin to trade $WAL and $DEEP, deposit and LP both on multiple platforms. If they didn't exist I doubt other tokens would get these protocols anywhere near to current usage and revenue.
