India Slams Pakistan at UNSC as Terror-Linked, IMF-Dependent State

At a UNSC debate chaired by Pakistan, India’s UN envoy P Harish called Pakistan a "serial IMF borrower" and a state steeped in fanaticism and terrorism.

Contrasting models were highlighted: India as a pluralistic, rising democracy, versus Pakistan’s economic mismanagement and terror sponsorship.

Harish demanded accountability in terror cases, citing the April XX Pahalgam attack that killed XX civilians, and urged costs for cross-border terrorism.

The Indian response came after Pakistan raised Kashmir and Indus Treaty issues, despite hosting the debate on multilateral peace and dispute settlement.
