A new war is approaching: Heavy fighting broke out on the border between Thailand and Cambodia, — CNN.

The Royal Cambodian Army shelled several Thai border towns with multiple rocket launchers.
In response, Thailand closed its border with Cambodia because of these attacks.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said the shelling was in response to actions by the Thai army near temples in the provinces of Oddar Meanchey, Preah Vihear, and Ubon Ratchathani.
At least one civilian was killed, and seven soldiers were injured by gunfire and artillery fire.
Fighting was reported at six locations along the disputed border with northeastern Thailand.
The Thai army said it carried out airstrikes on two Cambodian military installations.

Relations between the two countries have escalated in recent months due to an armed conflict in territory claimed by both sides.
The conflict is part of a decades-long border dispute, particularly over the Preah Vihear temple.
Similar clashes occurred in 2008 and 2011.
