Here are some quality LH RP who fill the #Mets biggest need, that are potentially attainable without having to surrender any of the prospects mentioned in the post below. 

The LONE exception being Bryan Hudson from #Brewers, who is an absolute stud when he’s healthy & has elite stuff for a setup man that dominated LH & RH in 2024. 

Dream Scenario:
| Bryan Hudson | LHP | MIL |
- Cost will be astronomical, if not prohibitive
- Dominant setup man, with 4+ years of control.
- Mid 90s velocity that’s deceptively faster b/c he’s 6’8 & gets tremendous extension from a quick, compact delivery.
- Hard To imagine MIL helping a team who knocked them out of the postseason in ‘24 & potentially will face again in ‘25. 
- It’s worth a shot b/c he’s not exactly employee of the month after scuffling with authority.
- 2024 #’s were flat out EYE-POPPING
- Thanks a lot Stearns 

| Gregory Soto | LHP | BAL |
- Bidding will be fierce b/c he’s low cost & a rental
- Checks a lot of boxes & he throws high 90s

| Caleb Ferguson | LHP | PIT | 
- Bidding will be fierce b/c he’s low cost & a rental
- Playoff experience plus low 90s velo

| Cade Gibson | LHP | MIA |
- He’s having a great rookie season (27 yrs old)
- quality stuff & X yrs of control also makes him pricey
- Tops out at 93, quality breaking stuff & command 
- I’ve seen him strike out a couple guys surgically on 7-8 pitches, only to then give up a HR on the very next pitch.

| Tyler Gilbert | LHP | CWS |
- Solid 2024
- 2025 #’s are solid in limited action
- deceptive delivery, only tops out at 91-92 mph
- Unproven & CWS are cherry picking his APP to boost his stats to make him more attractive 
- GM Chris Getz is a clown, who knows about as much as he does about running an MLB team as he does about having a long successful MLB career, NONE.

- Respectable 2024 & 2025 #’s 
- Solid splits vs RH & LH
- So-so performance w inherited runners
- solid arsenal, tops out at XX mph

| Sean Newcomb | LHP | A’s |
- Veteran w playoff experience 
- solid stuff but won’t wow anyone 
- RH have rocked him, better of late 
- We always donate prospects to the A’s every year, why break tradition
