Monolithic chains scale until bandwidth breaks but NEAR shards before it snaps 🤷

@NEARProtocol tackled this early

Dynamically sharded chain since 2021

Chunk only producers allow low-spec validators

State sharding + fast finality means zero compromise on UX

[Note :- Monolithic chains means chains, that built on a single layer/structure (like Ethereum, solana L1 without sharding)

Shared chains = workload is divided into separate shards (like NEAR), which makes it easy to scale without breaking bandwidth]
