Modi in UK - Free Trade Agreement

PM Modi landed in the UK on July XX for a two day visit focused on finalizing the long-awaited India–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA). 

During his stay, he is scheduled to meet UK PM Keir Starmer and King Charles III. 

The FTA, approved by India’s Cabinet, aims to eliminate tariffs on almost all Indian exports, double trade to around $XXX billion, boost mobility for professionals, and strengthen ties in areas such as defense, technology, education, and people-to-people exchanges.
