How the Relay Chain Works (Functionally)

The Relay Chain runs on Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS), where thousands of nominators delegate to trusted validators who finalize blocks.

Validators:
1) Stake @Polkadot  $DOT
2) Finalize parachain blocks
3) Secure the entire network

All parachains plug into this core and share its validator set.
