Not in the middle of a meltdown. That way, it becomes muscle memory. But we all know... Repeatedly doing something that doesn’t feel urgent is hard with ADHD. What helps me is pairing grounding with routines. - 5-4-3-2-1 while brushing teeth - Muscle relaxation in the shower - Box breathing while sitting at my desk Now it feels easy to reach when I actually need it.
