I've mentioned it a couple of times today, but I've not seen many people (well, basically none) talking about it in detail. Trump just secured $550B for infrastructure projects at his discretion. He can place these projects in any state, any congressional district (not sure people fully understand how big a power play that gives Trump and the gop going into the midterms). He can make sure the permits are approved. It's like the best shovel ready jobs program ever. No congressional meddling. There is no need for rule making or to distribute the funds through the labyrinth of government agencies. It's direct public to private funding. He also side steps the FED and their insane interest rates for commercial loans. On top of that, it helps our exporters and gives our car companies a more equal playing field.
