Philippines aims to reduce the US tariff from XX% to 15%, says Ambassador Romualdez. 

The trade deal details are still being finalized, and there is no transshipment coming through the Philippines.

“The reason why we came down to the XX% is because that’s only what — as President Trump pointed out, that is the base — but there is room for more improvement on the tariff,” says Philippine Ambassador to the US Jose Manuel Romualdez
