So I asked AI to assess the deal from the various announcements to see the actual facts: 
1) yes to XX% reciprocal tariffs 
2) Tariff free rice imports from USA still capped within existing WTO limits. Not a huge difference since Japan as per WTO should import X% of domestic consumption. So they will increase the USA rice imports within that 1%.
3) regarding the $550B, its a strategic pledge rather than actual deal, to be made over 10-15 years. As you can see that is a political statement.

No wonder Toyota is up on the news. It gives more stability for Japanese companies and not a one sided deal as most people would have you think.

Unfortunately Americans will have to pay XX% on Japanese products in tariffs.
