Today’s practice was marginally longer than Day 1, but still part of the early ramp-up. The real heavy work begins Sunday when pads come on — but that didn’t stop several guys from flashing on Day X. Let’s get into it. 👇 ⸻ 🩺 Availability Report: No Changes The same three players remained on the PUP list: •Jawaan Taylor (RT) •Kristian Fulton (CB) •Tre Harris (WR) Everyone else was in action again — a positive sign for early camp health. ⸻ 🧱 O-Line Notes For the second day in a row, we saw: •Josh Simmons holding it down at left tackle with the first team •Jaylon Moore filling in at right tackle for Taylor Simmons continues to get valuable reps — and while pads haven’t come on yet, it’s clear the staff is giving him a long look with the 1s. Something to monitor as install continues. ⸻ 🌡️ Heat, Tempo, and Vibes Temps crept up a bit today, hovering in the 80s — still relatively mild for late July in Missouri. Practice moved at a good pace, and while contact remains limited, you could feel the tempo start to rise. ⸻ 🎯 Mahomes Spreads the Love If Day X was all about Rashee Rice, today was a full showcase of Mahomes’ arsenal. Barring setbacks, he’s showing once again why he’s the team’s de facto WR1 when on the field. — 📈 Movers of the Day Biggest risers on Day 2: •Jalen Royals – stacking strong days, making plays over the middle and in space •Jake Briningstool – smooth, instinctive, and clearly building trust with Mahomes •Brashard Smith – dynamic with the ball in his hands, quietly earning more looks 🎖️ Honorable mention: Tyquan Thornton — the sideline grab was no joke. — 🛡️ Defensive Trenches While the real trench battles can’t start until pads go on Sunday, it was notable to see Omarr Norman-Lott rotating in with the 1s on the defensive line.
