I want to share this because I believe transparency is one of the most important — and rare — values in Web3. If it were more common, this space would be in a much better place.

Earlier, I came across a contract address for a new project and shared it in a few groups. I’ve known for some time that a Ponzi-style mining game was being developed by a team I respect. I know the founder personally — they’re incredibly capable, well-intentioned, and have poured everything into making this a success.

While I won’t go into every detail, I can say with full confidence:
Nothing shady or malicious happened today.
This was a case of high ambition, honest effort — and some unfortunate missteps.
In Web3, even a small hiccup can spiral into a full-blown crisis. I don’t believe anyone ignored the risks, nor do I believe there was any intent beyond launching a unique and exciting project. No influencers, no KOLs were paid to shill. The approach was organic and genuine.
Could the execution have been better? Absolutely.
But I’ve spent the day watching an entire Discord filled with people sharing screenshots, loving the mining game, and getting excited about the experience. That momentum is real.

I don’t think people should dismiss a project because of assumptions or imperfect rollout. This was a case of early discovery, mixed communication, and lack of a polished explanation when things didn’t go perfectly. And sometimes… shit just happens. That doesn’t mean it was done with bad intent.

I still believe @vitalekhbtarain is a cool and worthwhile project to try.

And I want to personally apologize for sharing the CA before I had all the details about the launch mechanics and rollout. That’s on me.

I also want to be transparent and share that I was up $XXXXXX at one point — but I didn’t dump.

I genuinely cared about the success of the project and the people who bought in after I shared the CA.
In the end, I more or less broke even… but people seem to really enjoy it, and I still believe it’s worth giving a shot.

Let’s keep building with integrity.
