NEW: Pediatrician arrested for m*rdering her 4-year-old daughter was found hiding in the laundry

Dr. Neha Gupta, 36, was arrested at her Edmond, Oklahoma by Oklahoma City Police and U.S. Marshals

She had recently lost her job and was in the middle of a custody battle with her ex-husband, Dr. Saurabh Talathi

Authorities say Gupta smothered her 4-year-old daughter, Aria Talathi, while vacationing in Florida in June

Investigators allege she then placed the child’s body in the backyard pool of the rental home, attempting to stage it as an accidental drowning
