Bosnia’s Stone Spheres: Ancient Craft, Natural Formation, or Part of Something Bigger?

In the forests near Zavidovići in central Bosnia, massive stone spheres, some almost perfectly round, have puzzled researchers for years. Are they the product of rare geological processes or remnants of an unknown ancient culture?  

What makes them even more curious:  

• They’re just XX km from the Bosnian pyramids in Visoko—another location steeped in controversy and intrigue.   

• They closely resemble the stone spheres of Costa Rica, which were carved by a pre-Columbian civilization over XXXXX years ago.

Could these similar structures—found continents apart—suggest a broader symbolic or cultural tradition?
Or are we just seeing patterns where none exist?
