The Trump administration on Tuesday revealed full details of its sweeping trade deal with Indonesia, projecting $50B in market access gains for American exporters.

🔓 Key Highlights:

🇮🇩 Indonesia to eliminate ~99% of tariffs on U.S. industrial, tech & agri goods

🇺🇸 U.S. to reduce reciprocal tariffs to XX% (down from 32%)

🇮🇩 To lift restrictions on critical mineral exports to U.S.

💼 Deal includes:

$15B in U.S. energy purchases (LPG, crude, gasoline)

$4.5B in agriculture buys (soybeans, wheat, cotton)

XX Boeing jets, many 777s, valued at $3.2B

Digital trade boost: No data localization, WTO e-duties moratorium support

⚠️ Transshipment clause: Goods from higher-tariff nations face XX% tariffs

📜 Still a preliminary deal, both sides to finalize and ratify before full enforcement.

Trump called the pact a “landmark”, boasting it opens Indonesia’s entire market to U.S. goods. Jakarta becomes the first country to negotiate a tariff reduction ahead of Trump’s Aug. X global tariff reset.
